Army Section
The Army section is the biggest section in our CCF at this moment in time. We are badged to the Mercian Regiment but still hold close links to the 22nd Cheshire Regiment that we were originally badged to. The Army Section learns the core subjects that all three sections learn but more advanced topics are included such as Advanced Infantry Tactics, Radio Communication, Advanced Skills At Arm and Night Navigation.
Cadets in the army section benefit from some of the best skills and teamwork in the CCF and have access to some of the best cadet infantry courses in the country.
The army section took part in a visit to Welbeck in 2008, activities included PT (personal trianing) and a variety of assualt courses and command tasks. Click here to see pictures.
